Our Move Home & Baby #2 On the Way!

All Our "Earthly Possessions"

On Saturday, January 25th we moved into our new home in Washington.

Here’s how it happened…

This last Thanksgiving we decided we wanted to move home. Bend is a beautiful city to live in but it’s just not home. And with Baby #2 on the way (due any day now!) we decided this was the right time. Lacie and I both agree that raising our kids around family is important to us. Plus, I got tired of Lacie being gone so much up in Washington. She’d go up to visit about every 5-6 weeks for a few days while I’d be in Bend missing her and Emma Grace. šŸ™ Continue reading

Our New House in Bend

On Sept 14, 2013 we moved into a new house in Bend. We’re renting still but this house has a lot more room. Our last house had 1,775 sq ft and this one has 2,826 sq ft. Which means I get my own dedicated home office, Emma get’s her own room and we have a big guest room (in addition to Sarah’s room and our bedroom). So we’re grateful for this house and have been enjoying it a lot over the last 2 months.

By the time we ended the call I told him I was interested but I would have to talk to my wife before making a decision. So we agreed to talk again on Monday, that would give us the weekend to talk.

We ended up having a long talk and decided this would be a great opportunity for me. Two of the goals I set going into my second year of business were:

  1. To specialize in the insurance industry, and
  2. Find a mentor who would help me grow in my vocation Continue reading
